Exciting News from the Ma Lab!
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Tomasz Grzywa, postdoctoral associate in the Ma Lab, has received the Translational Research Award at the 6th Annual Immune Modulation & Engineering Symposium (IMES) organized by the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, Drexel University. His award-winning work, titled “Directed Evolution-Based Discovery of Ligands for In Vivo Restimulation of CAR-T Cells”, highlights innovative strategies for enhancing CAR-T cell therapies and was recognized among some of the most cutting-edge research in the field.
Additionally, Ryan Tannir, an undergraduate researcher in the Ma Lab, presented his work with a poster titled “Engineering Strategies for Enhanced Lentiviral Gene Therapy.” We are proud of Ryan’s contributions and his representation of the lab’s ongoing efforts to advance gene therapy field.
The 6th Annual IMES is a prestigious event that brings together leading experts in immune modulation and engineering. We are honored to have our research recognized at this influential platform. A heartfelt thank you to the IMES team for this distinction and to all the collaborators who contributed to these projects! Congratulations to both Tomasz and Ryan for their incredible achievements!
