Congratulations to our PhD student, Alexandra, for winning the prestigious Muriel Joan Drew Hege Fund Award for Women in Cellular Immunotherapy Research! This remarkable achievement highlights Alexandra's dedication and hard work but also calls attention to the vital contributions that women make in this field.

In the lab Alexandra is engaged in groundbreaking on CAR T-cell therapies, such as a hypoxia inducible CAR for targeted activity within solid tumors. As a lab we are incredibly proud of Alexandra's accomplishments and excited to see how her research will continue to make an impact in cellular immunotherapy!
